Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM), 81-8 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cimarron upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Rams travel to Clayton (Clayton, NM) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Monday, December 12. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Clayton lost 67-63 in their recent non-league bout against Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM)

Next up, the Demons clash with the San Jon Coyotes (San Jon, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Des Moines will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Coyotes go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 71-43 non-league win over Adrian (Adrian, TX).
