New Mexico High School Basketball - Maxwell overwhelmed by Cimarron
The Maxwell Bears basketball team (Maxwell, NM), was overwhelmed 82-26 in Saturday's league battle with the host Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM)
The Rams now possess a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Des Moines for a 1A District 1 battle on Friday, February 20. Cimarron will battle a Demons team coming off a 82-24 league win over Maxwell (Maxwell, NM). The Demons record now stands at 12-10.
The Bears (0-10) will now prepare for their battle against Springer (Springer, NM). The Devils come into the 1A District 1 battle with a 21-2 record. In their last contest, Springer trounced Roy (Roy, NM), 100-66, in a league contest.
