Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM) and the host Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM), saw Cimarron's basketball squad trounce Maxwell by a score of 77-41.

With the victory, Cimarron improves its record to 18-8 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Springer (Springer, NM) to play the Devils in a 1A District 1 challenge on Saturday, February 16. The Devils come into the challenge with a record of 17-3. Springer won 91-69 in their recent league challenge against Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM)

Next up, the Bears play the Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM) in a 1A District 1 challenge, on Saturday, February 16. Maxwell will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Demons come into the challenge with a 16-9 record after their 70-44 league win over Roy (Roy, NM).
