New Mexico High School Basketball - Springer fells Cimarron
Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Springer Devils (Springer, NM) and the visiting Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM), saw Springer's basketball squad overcome Cimarron by a count of 79-60.
With the victory, Springer upgrades its record to 18-3 on the campaign. The Devils travel to Maxwell (Maxwell, NM) to play the Bears in a 1A District 1 challenge on Friday, February 22. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 4-14.
Next, the Rams clash with the Roy Longhorns (Roy, NM) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 22. Cimarron will attempt to advance on its 18-9 season record. The Longhorns go into the test with a 2-11 record after their 73-38 league loss to Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM).
