New Mexico High School Basketball - Maxwell trounces Cimarron
The Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM) basketball crushed the host Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM), 68-32 in Friday's league test.
The Bears (19-1) will now prepare for their test against Des Moines (Des Moines, NM). The Demons go into the A District 5 test with a 6-14 record.
The Rams now own a 11-10 record. They play next when they travel to Questa for a non-league test on Monday, February 5. Cimarron will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 68-36 league loss to Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-19.
