The Springer Red Devils (Springer, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM), 98-38 in Thursday's league test.

The Red Devils (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Roy Municipal Schools (Roy, NM). The Longhorns go into the 1A District 5 test with a 5-13 record. In their last test, Roy Municipal Schools was trounced by Cimarron (Cimarron, NM), 45-37, in a league test.

The Rams now own a 6-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wagon Mound for a 1A District 5 contest on Friday, February 13. Cimarron will battle a Trojans team coming off a 52-41 league win over Des Moines (Des Moines, NM). The Trojans record now stands at 14-7.
