With the win, Texico upgrades its record to 20-4 on the season. The Wolverines host Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM) to confront the Lions in a 2A District 7 challenge on Saturday, February 16. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 15-7. Santa Rosa lost 55-51 in their recent league challenge against Pecos (Pecos, NM)

Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the Pecos Panthers (Pecos, NM) in a 2A District 7 challenge, on Saturday, February 16. Clayton will attempt to improve on its 8-15 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 20-3 record after their 55-51 league win over Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM).
