Dexter Demons (Dexter, NM) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cloudcroft Bears (Cloudcroft, NM), 74-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Dexter upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Demons host Lovington (Lovington, NM) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 5-1. Lovington won 75-49 in their recent non-league bout against Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM)

Next up, the Bears play the Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Cloudcroft will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The SonBlazers come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 64-52 non-league win over Dexter (Dexter, NM).
