Eldorado Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM), 68-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Eldorado upgrades its record to 18-2 on the season. The Eagles host Sandia (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Matadors in a 6A District 2 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Matadors go into the bout with a record of 8-12. Sandia lost 54-48 in their recent league bout against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM) in a 6A District 2 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Clovis will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Monarchs go into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 82-76 league win over La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM).
