With the victory, Newcomb improves its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Sky Hawks travel to Navajo Pine (Navajo, NM) to battle the Warriors in a 2A District 1 challenge on Thursday, February 3. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 9-8. Navajo Pine won 81-37 in their recent league challenge against Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM)

Next up, the Rams battle the New Mexico Academy (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 25. Cuba will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record.
