The Bears now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roy Municipal Schools for a 1A District 5 contest on Thursday, February 18. Maxwell will meet a Longhorns team coming off a 63-28 league loss to Springer (Springer, NM). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-16.

The Demons (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against Roy Municipal Schools (Roy, NM). The Longhorns enter the 1A District 5 contest with a 3-17 record. In their last contest, Roy Municipal Schools was routed by Maxwell (Maxwell, NM), 81-19, in a league contest.
