Dexter Demons (Dexter, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Eunice Cardinals (Eunice, NM), 60-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Dexter upgrades its record to 10-10 on the season. The Demons host New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM) to encounter the Colts in a 2A District 5 bout on Friday, February 4. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 2-15.

Next up, the Cardinals encounter the Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 5. Eunice will attempt to move on its 2-15 season record.
