Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Dexter Demons (Dexter, NM) and the visiting Eunice Cardinals (Eunice, NM), saw Dexter's basketball squad wallop Eunice by a count of 72-31.

With the victory, Dexter upgrades its record to 19-2 on the campaign. The Demons travel to New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM) to play the Colts in a 2A District 5 challenge on Friday, February 7. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 7-11. New Mexico Military Institute lost 65-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Portales (Portales, NM)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Eunice will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record.
