Eunice Cardinals (Eunice, NM) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dora Coyotes (Dora, NM), 66-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Eunice upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Loving (Loving, NM) to play the Falcons in a 2A District 4 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 2-17. Loving lost 53-28 in their recent non-league bout against New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM)

Next up, the Coyotes play the Clovis Christian Eagles (Clovis, NM) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Dora will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 69-53 league loss to Logan (Logan, NM).
