Tohatchi Cougars (Tohatchi, NM) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Dulce Hawks (Dulce, NM), 58-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tohatchi upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Miyamura (Gallup, NM) to encounter the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, November 30. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Hawks encounter the Navajo Prep Eagles (Farmington, NM) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 3. Dulce will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 82-81 non-league loss to Monument Valley (Monument Valley, UT).
