Loving Falcons (Loving, NM) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Eunice Cardinals (Eunice, NM), 72-63 in a league bout.

With the win, Loving upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Falcons travel to Dexter (Dexter, NM) to clash with the Demons in a 3A District 4 bout on Tuesday, February 10. The Demons go into the bout with a record of 4-18. Dexter lost 75-33 in their recent non-league bout against Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Texico Wolverines (Texico, NM) in a 3A District 4 bout, on Tuesday, February 10. Eunice will attempt to upgrade on its 15-6 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 56-22 league win over Dexter (Dexter, NM).
