The Floyd Broncos basketball team scored 67 points and held the host San Jon Coyotes to 44 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Friday.

The Broncos now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tucumcari for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 11. Floyd will meet a Rattlers team coming off a 64-31 non-league win over Non Varsity Opponent (, ). The Rattlers record now stands at 5-8.

The Coyotes (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Des Moines (Des Moines, NM). The Demons enter the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Des Moines triumphed over Cimarron (Cimarron, NM), 51-48, in a non-league contest.
