In Saturday's league outing, the Menaul Panthers (Albuquerque, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Foothill Falcons (Albuquerque, NM), by a count of 75-49.

The Panthers (8-13) will now prepare for their outing against Mountainair (Mountainair, NM). The Mustangs go into the 1A District 2 outing with a 4-20 record. In their last match, Mountainair was ripped by Desert Academy (Santa Fe, NM), 73-38, in a league match.

With the defeat, Foothill moves to 1-11 on the year. The Falcons host Alamo Navajo (Magdalena, NM) to face the Cougars in a 1A District 2 match on Tuesday, February 18. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 8-14.
