New Mexico High School Basketball - Foothill can't hold off Miyamura
The Miyamura Patriots basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Foothill Falcons to 70 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Patriots now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grants for a 4A District 6 contest on Friday, December 10. Miyamura will meet a Pirates team coming off a 79-46 non-league win over Dulce (Dulce, NM). The Pirates record now stands at 5-0.
The Falcons (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Dulce (Dulce, NM). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Dulce was nudged by Grants (Grants, NM), 79-46, in a non-league contest.
