With the victory, Texico upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Bosque (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 19. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 12-3.

Next up, the Longhorns play the Santa Rosa Lions (Santa Rosa, NM) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 14. Logan will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 52-46 non-league loss to Tularosa (Tularosa, NM).
