New Mexico High School Basketball - Springer routs Maxwell
In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Springer Red Devils basketball team scored a big 97-71 triumph over the Maxwell Bears.
The Red Devils (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Cimarron (Cimarron, NM). The Rams go into the A District 5 contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Cimarron was trounced by Logan (Logan, NM), 65-32, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bears face the New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners (Santa Fe, NM) in a A District 5 outing, on Tuesday, January 27. Maxwell will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Roadrunners enter the outing with a 5-7 record after their 72-67 league loss to Maxwell (Maxwell, NM).
