St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM), 54-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Michael's upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Horsemen travel to St. Pius (Albuquerque, NM) to encounter the Sartans in a non-league bout on Friday, January 16. The Sartans go into the bout with a record of 8-7. St. Pius won 65-55 in their recent non-league bout against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM)

Next up, the Warriors encounter the Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 16. Socorro will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Lobos go into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 82-68 non-league win over Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM).
