The Dexter Demons basketball team (Dexter, NM), was overwhelmed 76-45 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Eunice Cardinals (Eunice, NM)

The Cardinals now possess a 19-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Loving for a 3A District 4 battle on Friday, February 5. Eunice will battle a Falcons team coming off a 82-29 non-league win over New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM). The Falcons record now stands at 15-4.

The Demons (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against Texico (Texico, NM). The Wolverines come into the 3A District 4 battle with a 15-2 record. In their last battle, Texico trounced Loving (Loving, NM), 57-40, in a league battle.
