The Tatum Coyotes basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Texico Wolverines to 41 in the Coyotes non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the victory, Tatum upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Lake Arthur (Lake Arthur, NM) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 15. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-6. Lake Arthur lost 45-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Jal (Jal, NM)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Fort Sumner Foxes/Vixens (Fort Sumner, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 22. Texico will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record.
