Arellano out-dueled Coca in a game that looked almost out of reach for Española minute earlier, as the Sundevils were locked in a cold shooting stretch from the free throw line. @rgsunsports Arellano took advantage of the opportunity and scored on a drive from the top of the key to begin the rally. He was fouled but missed the free throw. No problem, Flores grabbed the offensive rebound, then found Arellano for the layup and a 48-43 deficit with 1:50 left. Arellano then came up with a steal and drove to the basket - only he lost the ball out of bounds for what appeared to be a crushing missed chance. But Coca lost the ball on the next possession, and Arellano scored again. While the Jaguars never had a doubt about who would get the final shot, Sundevils head coach Richard Martinez had his choices. Arellano scored eight of Española's last 10 points prior to Flores' bucket, while Elias Archuleta and his nine points on the night was another good choice. @sfnmsports
