New Mexico High School Softball - Bloomfield bounces Gallup
The Bloomfield Bobcats routed the host Gallup Bengals softball squad by a count of 13-5 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Bobcats (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM). The go into the 4A District 1 battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Wingate topped Navajo Pine (Navajo, NM), 15-4, in a non-league battle.
The Bengals now sport a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Farmington for a 5A District 1 battle on Friday, April 1. Gallup will meet a Scorpions squad coming off a 21-4 non-league loss to Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM). The Scorpions record now stands at 4-13.
