Hatch Valley Bears (Hatch, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM), 18-0 in a league challenge.

The Bears now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Silver for a 4A District 3 challenge on Thursday, March 29. Hatch Valley will battle a Fighting Colts squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM). The Fighting Colts record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Socorro falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM) to battle the Tigers in a 4A District 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 3. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Hot Springs lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Silver (Silver City, NM)
