The Bears (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Melrose (Melrose, NM). The Buffaloes come into the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Melrose defeated Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
