The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Cloudcroft Bears (Cloudcroft, NM) and the visiting Capitan Tigers (Capitan, NM), saw Cloudcroft's volleyball squad beat Capitan by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Cloudcroft upgrades its record to 19-0 on the year. The Bears travel to Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM) to play the Mavericks in a 2A District 3 bout on Saturday, November 4. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 7-11. Lordsburg won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM)

The Tigers now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Tatum for a non-league bout on Saturday, November 4. Capitan will play a Coyotes squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Eunice (Eunice, NM). The Coyotes record now stands at 8-11.
