The Cardinals (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Melrose (Melrose, NM). The Buffaloes come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Melrose achieved victory over Capitan (Capitan, NM), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Bears clash with the Hagerman Bobcats (Hagerman, NM) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 27. Cloudcroft will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Bobcats come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM).
