The Hobbs Eagles volleyball team (Hobbs, NM), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM)

The Wildcats (8-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Portales (Portales, NM). The Rams enter the non-league challenge with a 6-11 record. In their last challenge, Portales was dropped by Ruidoso (Ruidoso, NM), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Carlsbad Cavemen (Carlsbad, NM) in a 6A District 4 challenge, on Thursday, October 23. Hobbs will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Cavemen go into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM).
