The Hobbs Eagles volleyball team (Hobbs, NM), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM)

The Wildcats (12-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Cavemen enter the 5A District 4 challenge with a 4-15 record. In their last challenge, Carlsbad defeated Hobbs (Hobbs, NM), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Carlsbad Cavemen (Carlsbad, NM) in a 5A District 4 challenge, on Thursday, October 31. Hobbs will attempt to move on its 3-16 season record. The Cavemen enter the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Lovington (Lovington, NM).
