The Pecos Panthers volleyball team (Pecos, NM), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Dulce Hawks (Dulce, NM)

The Hawks (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Santa Fe Prep (Santa Fe, NM). The Blue Griffins enter the 3A District 2 challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Santa Fe Prep was nudged by Desert Academy (Santa Fe, NM), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Monte Del Sol Charter Dragons (Santa Fe, NM) in a 3A District 2 challenge, on Friday, October 9. Pecos will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Desert Academy (Santa Fe, NM).
