The Gadsden Panthers held off the host Las Cruces BULLDAWGS volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Saturday's league test.

The Panthers now have a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centennial for a 6A District 3 test on Tuesday, September 20. Gadsden will confront a Hawks team coming off a 3-0 league win over Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 8-1.

The BULLDAWGS (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Hobbs (Hobbs, NM). The Eagles enter the 6A District 3 test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Hobbs held off Roswell (Roswell, NM), 3-0, in a non-league test.
