The Pirates now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Wingate for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 8. Grants will meet a Bears team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM). The Bears record now stands at 1-1.

The Hawks (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Aztec (Aztec, NM). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Aztec gained a win over Miyamura (Gallup, NM), 3-0, in a non-league game.
