In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Maxwell Bears volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Springer Red Devils.
The Bears (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM). The Trojans come into the 1A District 5 battle with a 2-6 record.
Next, the Red Devils clash with the Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM) in a 1A District 5 battle, on Thursday, October 24. Springer will attempt to advance on its 8-9 season record.
