In Friday's league outing, the White Pine Bobcats (Ely, NV) basketball squad felled the host Laughlin Cougars (Laughlin, NV), by a margin of 57-48.

The Bobcats (7-12) will now prepare for their outing against Needles (Needles, CA). The Mustangs go into the 2A Southern outing with a 8-11 record. In their last outing, Needles was beaten by Democracy Prep Agassi Campus (Las Vegas, NV), 1-0, in a league outing.

The Cougars now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Founders Academy for a 2A Southern outing on Saturday, February 5. Laughlin will encounter a Centurions squad coming off a 69-30 league loss to The Meadows School (Las Vegas, NV). The Centurions record now stands at 2-11.
