In Saturday's league outing, the host Elko Indians softball team scored a close 10-3 win over the Sparks Railroaders.

Coming up next, the Indians encounter the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) in a 3A Northern outing, on Friday, April 20. Elko will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record.

The Railroaders (1-12) will now prepare for their outing against Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Wolverines enter the 3A Northern outing with a 1-14 record. In their last outing, Truckee tipped South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA), 20-17, in a league outing.
