Nevada High School Softball - West Wendover gets by Eureka
The West Wendover Wolverines (West Wendover, NV) softball nipped the visiting Eureka Vandals (Eureka, NV), 12-11 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Wolverines (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against Wells (Wells, NV). The Leopards go into the non-league bout with a 7-4 record. In their last bout, Wells was edged by Carlin (Carlin, NV), 12-2, in a league bout.
The Vandals now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Wells for a Western 1A bout on Saturday, April 11. Eureka will confront a Leopards squad coming off a 23-13 non-league win over Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV). The Leopards record now stands at 5-2.
