New York High School Baseball - Bodley loses to Mexico
The Mexico Tigers baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Bodley Red Raiders to 0 in the Tigers league victory on Monday.
The Tigers (1-12) will now prepare for their match against Cortland (Cortland, NY). The Purple Tigers go into the Section 3 Freedom challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, Cortland was overwhelmed by Bishop Ludden (Syracuse, NY), 1-0, in a league challenge.
With the defeat, Bodley falls to 2-15 on the season. The Red raiders host Birdlebough (Phoenix, NY) to encounter the Firebirds in a Section 3 Freedom challenge on Wednesday, May 2. The Firebirds come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Birdlebough lost 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Jamesville-DeWitt (DeWitt, NY)
