Construction Red Hawks (Queens, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Eagle Academy (Bronx, NY), 68-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Construction upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Red Hawks host Van Buren (Queens Village, NY) to play the Vee Bees in a PSAL Queens AA bout on Tuesday, January 5. The Vee Bees go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Van Buren lost 85-61 in their recent league bout against Cardozo (Bayside, NY)

Next up, the play the Truman Mustangs (Bronx, NY) in a PSAL Bronx AA bout, on Tuesday, January 5. Eagle Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 56-52 non-league loss to Graves County (Mayfield, KY).
