Olean Huskies (Olean, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Dunkirk Marauders (Dunkirk, NY), 79-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Olean upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Huskies host Gowanda (Gowanda, NY) to play the Panthers in a Section 6 Chautauqua County I bout on Tuesday, January 29. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Gowanda won 46-41 in their recent league bout against Falconer (Falconer, NY)

Next up, the Marauders play the Fredonia Hillbillies (Fredonia, NY) in a Section 6 Chautauqua County I bout, on Wednesday, January 30. Dunkirk will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Hillbillies go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 65-64 league loss to Southwestern (Jamestown, NY).
