Olean Huskies (Olean, NY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Dunkirk Marauders (Dunkirk, NY), 78-47 in a league bout.

With the victory, Olean upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Salamanca (Salamanca, NY) to play the Warriors in a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - I West bout on Wednesday, March 17. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 6-6. Salamanca won 50-46 in their recent non-league bout against Randolph (Randolph, NY)

Next up, the Marauders play the Eden Raiders (Eden, NY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 13. Dunkirk will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 52-49 league win over Holland (Holland, NY).
