The Fredonia Hillbillies basketball team (Fredonia, NY), was overwhelmed 74-51 in Friday's league battle with the host Olean Huskies (Olean, NY)

The Huskies now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Allegany-Limestone for a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - I West battle on Tuesday, March 9. Olean will confront a Gators team coming off a 50-48 league win over Salamanca (Salamanca, NY). The Gators record now stands at 6-2.

The Hillbillies (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Southwestern (Jamestown, NY). The Trojans come into the Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - I West battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Southwestern trounced Dunkirk (Dunkirk, NY), 68-37, in a league battle.
