New York High School Basketball - Potsdam ripped by Plattsburgh
The Plattsburgh Hornets basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Potsdam Sandstoners to 38 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Hornets now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Peru for a Section 7 Champlain Valley I contest on Tuesday, January 7. Plattsburgh will meet a Indians team coming off a 71-48 non-league loss to Franklin Academy (Malone, NY). The Indians record now stands at 5-3.
The Sandstoners (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ogdensburg Free Academy (Ogdensburg, NY). The Blue Devils enter the Section 10 Central contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Ogdensburg Free Academy triumphed over Gouverneur (Gouverneur, NY), 87-38, in a league contest.
