The Saugerties Sawyers basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Wallkill Panthers to 58 in the Sawyers league victory on Friday.

The Sawyers now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a Section 9 Mid Hudson I bout on Monday, February 10. Saugerties will play a Presidents squad coming off a 64-60 league loss to New Paltz (New Paltz, NY). The Presidents record now stands at 6-9.

Next up, the Panthers play the New Paltz Huguenots (New Paltz, NY) in a Section 9 Mid Hudson I bout, on Monday, February 10. Wallkill will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Huguenots go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 64-60 league win over Roosevelt (Hyde Park, NY).
