Aubrey Maryniak has been named player of the year. "Aubrey threw an astounding 212 strikeouts over 106 innings. She threw a season high 19 strikeouts in a win against Gates-Chili. Offensively, Aubrey led the team in extra base hits and hit the team's lone home run on the season. Aubrey was also the team's emotional leader, constantly encouraging her teammates to keep their heads up when times got tough. Great season, Aubrey!"
