Caleb Philips has been named player of the year. "Caleb led the team in many major offensive categories - hits, doubles, home runs, RBIs, batting average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage and OPS. Many of his numbers also led Section 9. Caleb volunteered to be back-up catcher when we needed one. He also played first base, left field, center field and right field without having an error the whole season. On the mound, Caleb led the team in innings pitched and was second in strikeouts."
