The Bacon Spartans basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Elder Panthers to 48 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Badin for a Greater Catholic - North contest on Friday, January 29. Bacon will meet a Rams team coming off a 52-39 non-league loss to St. Xavier (Cincinnati, OH). The Rams record now stands at 8-7.
The Panthers (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against St. Xavier (Cincinnati, OH). The Bombers come into the Greater Catholic - South contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, St. Xavier edged Badin (Hamilton, OH), 52-39, in a non-league contest.
