The Lexington Minutemen volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Perkins Pirates to 0 in the Minutemen non-league victory on Saturday.

The Minutemen now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clyde for a non-league game on Saturday, September 5. Lexington will meet a Fliers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Huron (Huron, OH). The Fliers record now stands at 0-1.

The Pirates (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Edison (Milan, OH). The Chargers enter the Sandusky Bay game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Edison gained a win over Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH), 3-0, in a league game.
